Control Surface TCP/IP Protocols

In many integrated systems it is preferable to execute system shutdown via some form of power sequencing system.

It would be ideal to issue a TCP/IP command from a Crestron or similar system instructing the control surface to initiate its power down process.

When coordinated with appropriately timed control of the AC power sequence, a single button, “automated” shutdown process would be possible.

Is this command currently available or are there plans to implement in the future?

I wonder if this is an option through the PL-Net set up. Using a PL-8 would take care of it.

I’ll look next time I’m in a system. But I don’t think it is an option…

You do bring up a good point.
