Copy Faders levels on SQ-Rack

Hi all,

I have both an SQ5 and an SQ-Rack mixer. I want to use the SQ-Rack as an IEM mixer using a digital split. When I was only using the SQ5, I created one basic mix and easily copied it using the copy/paste buttons. These buttons are also on the SQ-Rack, but I can’t seem to copy the fader levels from Aux 1 to Aux 2. (It copies the processing, but not the fader levels.) Can anyone help me with how to do this on the SQ-Rack? Thanks in advance!

If you copied the processing, you surely clicked on the corresponding mix channels in the Processing screen.
However, if you want to copy the “Assignments,” you have to do this using the Select Mix buttons.
On the SQ-5 these are on the far right - on the SQ-Rack you will find them on the Select Mix pop-up, where you also select your mix (see image).

I really tried this methode, it did not work. I must do something wrong, but I don’t know what..

Oh, I’m sorry about that.
Even according to the Reference Guide, which also applies to the SQ-Rack, it should work that way.

Could you try using the Mix Channels (in a non-empty area) in the Routing screen instead of the Mix Select buttons in the described “Select Mix” pop-up?
At least on my SQ-6, it works too.

Perhaps regarding the Mix Select buttons are a bug, and another SQ-Rack user could try it and confirm?

Both methodes don’t work after several times trying. Can please another SQ-Rack user try this? Or otherwise;.. could A&H tech team explain how this works please? Thanks in advantage.

Really strange!
But on your SQ-5, it also works for you with the second option via the routing screen?
(Strangely, when you hold down the Copy or Paste key, the tapping in the “empty” center of the channel stripe doesn’t work, but you have to do it at the top or bottom.)
And something else strange: It doesn’t work in MixPad either!
Processing yes - Routing (Assignments) no - maybe they forgot?
If you need a quick response from A&H, it’s better to write to them directly.
Here, it’s more or less “random” whether someone responds.

I made a support ticket and Rafael answered;.. (and it worked, so thx A&H!)

“To do this on an SQ-Rack, you must Copy/Paste from the ‘Routing’ view.
Go to the routing view, select the layer that has your Aux’s, the press and hold copy while you touch the screen on the Aux you wish to copy from, then press and hold paste and touch the screen on the Aux you wish to copy into.”

I actually tried to describe it that way, but my English …!
But what did Rafael say about the problem that it doesn’t work with MixPad?

Sorry, i didn’t asked. :see_no_evil_monkey:
