Hey everyone, hoping to not have to use 6-7 spaces in a 10u case to mount the CQ12 so I’m considering mounting it with velcro to a sliding shelf…has anyone done this yet and could share pics or frustrations in mounting that way? Can I realistically get away with using 3u of space including cables permanently connected?

Also, I don’t want to invest yet in a new case with mixer mount on top. I have an existing vertical 10u case
Here’s my CQ-12 mounted to a sliding 1U drawer in a SKB 4U case. I drilled holes in the tray and attached the mixer using the threaded holes in the bottom of the CQ. Uses 3U of rack space but less if you turn the tray upside down.

just “google” Rack Mount Sliding Tray and you will be presented with many options…
Look in to right angle cables to get a bit more room.
