Absolutely clean monitoring, but noise is added to the recording. On the SD card and in DAW
the noise at the end sounds like water

I can hear what sounds like background/street noise in the recording, maybe a car pulling away towards the end (?)
If you think there is a problem here though, and have tested with a less sensitive microphone or DI box connected (as an unterminated connection is not a good way to test!), then you can contact us directly through support.allen-heath.com and we can look at this in more detail with you.
