A search reveals that this issue has arisen before on the SQ as well as the CQ but I fail to find a satisfactory explanation.
I find it convenient to use a USB flash drive for “walk-in” music and system checkout. I copied 254 WAV files from a Windows 10 PC to a USB flash drive. The filenames failed to show on the CQ’s USB playback screen and the files were unavailable to play. Loading a single file was successful so I incrementally loaded more and have got up to 90 and it still works. I see the same behavior on 32 and 64 GB drives, which are nowhere near capacity.
I would like to understand what the actual limit is so that I can at least max-out the number of files and if A&H has plans to address this limit in future releases. Thanks.
