I just received my CQ-18T console and look forward to learning to use it at its best. I’m also about to buy some decent monitoring headphones, thinking of DT770 for live use and DT880 for studio mixing. I am wondering however what impedance I should select (32, 80 and 250 Ohm available). My understanding is that the higher the impedance, the cleaner the sound but the quieter the output is. Is there any impedance recommendation from A&H? If not, I’m sure there is plenty of user experience in this forum

Î’m using a 32 Ohms Focal listen with no issue.
It sounds amazing and very loud. Never have to set the volume more than half … Enjoy your CQ !
