Very busy gigging band, been using the CQ 18T for about four months five shows a week. Seem to be getting FX overheat and DAC errors more regularly and also have been experiencing random volume/gain spikes not to mention a few oddities from the CQ4U app randomly controlling another users mix even though it’s not assigned that mix. Wondering if all of these are related or do I have a faulty unit? I have been running an external fan after searching online, It appears to be a fairly common issue with these. Any help or tips would be appreciated.
Is the internal fan working? Are you not blocking its inlet or outlet?
Yes, fan appears to be working. As to blocked, not that I know of but cooling fan is on the bottom of the unit and you have to set it on something. Been running it with a cooling fan and that seems to help but why should I have to buy an external fan for the top tier mixer.
