I am looking at the “Processor”, “Fader” and “Effects” screens of CQ Mixpad (latest version to go with our newly purchased new CQ-20).
On the left side is a “CUSTOM” button.
I have searched for anything, anywhere to tell me what this means and how to use it.
When I select it, the four boxes below it change color and are now labeled “A”, “B”, “C” and “D”.
Could someone please give me some instruction on what this does and how to use it?
You can put together a total of 4 banks of 8 channels each as you wish, as described on page 78 of the manual (see also pic 1).
For example, you can create a combination of inputs 1, 2 and 5, ST IN, USB, FX1, as well as Out1 and Main LR and then have these channels in view and access in one place (see pic2).
Now that is WAY awesome!
I searched the user manual for the word “custom” and, while this most likely was one of the search results, it just didn’t click with me that this was what it is.
Thank you for taking the time to point me in the right direction!
