I LOVE FEATURES OF THIS CONSOL, PLEASE RELEASE 32CH VERSION

Love from INDIA

Please God Yes!! Or at least update the CQ 18 where it can add a digital snake with the ability to expand channel count like the QU series can do.

I would be ALL OVER this in either capacity!
CQ has so much goodness. I prefer it immensely over my aging QU.

Expandability is the only major drawback. Tell me there are plans in the works??

Thats the wrong forum. write in “CQ feature suggestions”

+1!!!

The SQ5 has everything you are requiring and more. Please try to understand the hard reality of the CQ’s entry level limitations: The width of it’s XCIV core driven FPGA processing intentionally limits the I/O options to their internal I/Os. I have sucessfully deployed an SQ5 with a DX32 loaded with 8 Prime I/Os & 16 D-Live pres. I added a CQ20b to facilitate my one man show &/or small sized Bluegrass gigs. I had no illusions pursuant to any expectation of using my world class DX32 I/Os with the little CQ20b: it is what it is and does what I required quite well. The CQs & SQs are SR tools that need to be matched to the task at hand!

… ?

Hugh was mostly answering to AdmamInAz I believe.
Even if this is not the goal of this forum section, I see not problem expressing ideas for full new product as Newtrik did.
But Hugh answer to AdmamInAz 's reply make sense to me.
I am also pretty convicted that the CQ line as it is now will never receive any major update for any kind of expansion abilities.
I don’t see how it could be possible at hardware level.

Truth told I too would love to purchase an advanced “Mix on glass” desk accommodating expansion stage boxes and sufficient processing speed to deliver the best A&H deep plug-ins. My earlier post was emphasizing the fact that it is highly unlikely A&H will make any major alteration to the existing CQ line. The only prayer of the type of device the OP has requested is a totally new designed “mix on glass” desk that features SQ level I/Os and even better processing speed.
