The CQ range has USB A and USB B ports. I assume that USB A allows you to send audio sources to the CQ and USB allows CQ mixer to send multi stream audio to a device.
Can I then send audio from the CQ mixer to a second audio recording device ie say something like a Tascam PortaCapture which has a USB C port with the correct cable (USB B to USB C) or are there other things to consider on an USB audio stream?

Think Im starting to answer my own queries as my brain gets into gear. Yes there are other issues to consider on the audio stream as the CQ I believe only supports files which are 48K or 96K sample size. So presumably trying to stream CD audio files at 44.1 won’t work or existing files using the older sample sizes, unless you convert them first to Wav 48/96.

You’re right in saying that the CQ will only work with 48K or 96K Sample rates.
Either of the USB ports on a CQ will work in either direction - you can play audio or record on either. USB A is Stereo, and USB B allows multi track recording.
You could, for instance, play stereo audio files from USB A, and record multitrack to computer over USB B.
Or you could be multitracking your show via USB B to your computer, and at the same time record a Stereo mix to USB A.
The two ports are as follows:
USB-A (CQ as host, for audio and data storage and
recall)
USB-B (CQ as client, for audio and MIDI).
Unfortunately I don’t have the Tascam device here to test, so I can’t pass comment on it. That said, the USB B port on the CQ does appear as a class compliant USB 2.0 audio interface, so if the Tascam supports this, then you should be good to go. It would be worth experimenting and feel free to let us know how you get on.
