My CQ12t has been awesome until today. I started to try and do some recording in audacity on Windows and was unable to get it to work. When I tried to set the audio recording source, all I saw was CQ1&2, 3&4, and 5&6. I the mic is on channel 3, and it’s sent to output 5. Thus when I selected the CQ5&6 as the recording source, I got nothing. the faders are showing an input on channel 3 and and volume on the Output 5. I then checked the windows settings for the input and same thing.
Subsequently, I opened my DAW (FL Studio) and when I setup the audio for recording, I had the option for CQ USB. I selected that and I was able to do a short test recording that worked well. Thus, the connection is good between the CQ and computer, the USB out is also working. So I don’t understand what is happening with Windows sound settings and Audacity?? Why doesn’t the USB show up? any thoughts / recommendations?
