CQ20B iPadOS 18.5

Hi,

Ive had the CQ20b for maybe half a year now and all has been great.
Ive been primarily using it as a live audio interface with my ipad running LoopyPro for my solo acoustic sets.

I recently updated my ipad to 18.5 and now the CQ20B has a hell of a time appearing as an interface.

Now everytime i connect the ipad to it. for the CQ20B to appear as an audio interface i have to toggle the Sample rate in the CQ-MixPad app which wakes up the connection, then the ipad sees it.

Never used to have to do this before. Ive been doing all the usual things like restart the interface, restart the ipad. try different cables, try an official apple hub, try my normal hub.

I know this is an an ‘early adopter’ problem and I fear im doomed until A&H bring out some firmware to official support iPadOS 18.5.

Also now ive noticed, when i get it to connect.

I have the audio playing through loopy pro for a while then suddenly it just switches to this high pitched wine.

I have to reset the sample rate or power things off and on.

Once its all connected again, after about 1min of playing audio the high pitched wine flicks on again.

Hello.
I might be that your issue is only linked with Loopypro APP.
I am running the same configuration but with another app called Stage Traxx3 and have no issue.

Do you have any charger connected to your hub? I’m also having problems with wine pitch if connected to iPad with charger.
