Is there a way of when saving scene to a USB you can then open I on a PC/MAC software ( ie excel) to view all your patches etc or am I going to have to do it the long way around and enter it manually like some Luddite ???
Sorry if I misunderstood you and answer this way:
I don’t know of any way to open a scene file in Excel.
But on a PC or Mac, you could use MixPad to open a scene file from your USB stick, view all (your patches etc), modify it, and save it again.
But wouldn’t you still have to enter your data manually also in Excel?
Or what exactly are you planning to do, or how did you envision it working?
what I was wanting was a pdf of SLink ins to assigned local patches which local inputs have been assigned to which faders and mix busses dca’s etc… I jump from desk to desk in many varied locations and was wanting an easier way of working out what is going where…
Unfortunately, I’m not aware of any such possibility.
