I’ve made cable connections from the Mix Outputs (Mix 7 & Mix8) to hardware inputs of a stereo reverb, and from the reverb outputs to the QU-32 channel inputs so in a basic sense I can run output via the ‘Mix’ to hardware and back. But because of the latency I need to set this up properly in Cubase using the ‘External Effects’ panel. I’m guessing that in I/O patch setup I need to assign a pair of channels (ie; 1 & 2) to Mix 7 L and Mix8 R, so that from the Cubase external effects panel I can route channels 1 & 2 as sends and the should go through Mix 7 & 8. Is that all I would need to do? I’ve noticed from looking through the forum that there’s also an option to switch a channel to ‘direct out’ - would that be a better way to achieve this? Very many thanks for your help!

I have the same problem with my new QU-5. I want to integrate various outboard equipment.
I go out to the outboard equipment via the Mix Out and then back from the outboard equipment to the QU-5 input channel. I have the inputs and outputs set up correctly on my DAW (Studio One).
But now I’m not sure what exactly I need to set on the QU-5.
The current settings are:
Inputs = Local (1, 2, 3,…)
Mix Out = Mix Out (1, 2, 3,…)
Is there a detailed guide somewhere on how to integrate outboard equipment with the QU series into a DAW?
