Cue List Editor - Move Items Up or Down, Replace

Had to build a new cue list this morning and thought of two improvements I’d love to see:

  1. The ability to move a cue up or down in the list. As of right now, you have to remove it from the list and then add it back to the spot you want it moved to.
  2. The ability to REPLACE a cue list item with another scene. Meaning that if scene 1 is currently at a given place in the cue list, I’d like to be able to select it and choose another scene to take its place.

Drag and drop? It works in Director.

Gah, you’re right. I stand by the request for a button for those movements though, because the touch screen interaction is counter intuitive. You have to select the cue and then drag it a little to left or right, otherwise the up down movement just scrolls the list.

And I’m probably in the minority here, but dragging my finger on the touchscreen just doesn’t “feel” nice.

Drag n Drop is okay for me, but yes, sometimes it doesn’t move but scroll.

What I HATE is that it scrolls randomly somewhere, whenever you go to the Scene/Cue List and back to the editor. Also that Scenes stay selected, whenever you move them to the Cue List is useless and in the way of a good workflow. There are tons of things to be improved in the Scenes and Scene filters.
