Custom MIDI messages per softkey

It would be very useful in larger MIDI systems to be able to send user-defined MIDI messages (note/program change/SysEx) from each softkey to control other MIDI devices (i.e., change presets in a lighting or video controller.)

Would that be possible? (Read the Qu manual, and it only supports MMC.)

+1 for this suggestion. The theatre users of the QU series the world over would thank you for being able to use this with Qlab via MIDI softkeys.

As a work around, you could convert the signal in something like midipipe on a mac.
