I have a request for CustomControl for the AHM.
In CC, I always create overviews for the system statuses of our controllers. Among other things, the gain reductions for the zones are also displayed here. I use one compressor per zone as an RMS limiter with slow control times – plus a peak limiter in speaker processing. (I only use 1-way crossovers)
Now here’s my request:
there is no display option for the peak limiter in speaker processing; I can only display the full-range limiter in CC.
However, this has the disadvantage that the crossover settings are bypassed. So if I copy the limiter for the high frequencies from the speaker processor (which can be done under Outputs/Limiters), the limiter display also reacts to bass and mid-range frequencies that do not exist for the limiter in the output (i.e. in the speaker processor). This means that incorrect limiter reactions are displayed.
For the zone compressor, you can work around this by using the sidechain filter accordingly. But this option is not available in the output limiter.
Suggestion:
Please also enable the option to display the limiter in the Speaker Processor in CC.
