Date and time on SD card files

Can the desk use normal network server time signatures like Windows does?
Assuming it has no real-time clock on the main board (oh well) then it could at least get the time when we boot up, or allow us to enter it manually.

Otherwise all the recordings on the SD card (and USB card) have the exact same date and time on all recordings making it hard to find things later, all files are 1/12017 12:01AM.

Being able to rename the files later would also help.
Or access the SD card over Ethernet / USB so we don’t have to eject it over and over to look at it each time.

I understand the lack of hardware support for a continuous clock. However, I too am experiencing this as a major pain point. Would it be too much to ask to have future hardware iterations have a battery backed clock? Did we miss an opportunity when SQ went to SQ+?

I suppose a workaround would be to use something like Unix “touch” to update the file date stamps.

At a minimum there are very simple broadcast NTP mechanisms that could be implemented
