Since the iPad Pro is almost as powerful as most windows tablets. It would be great to have full director app for iPad. Or make the sidecar function work atleast.
And preamp control for 3rd party Dante devices for example Neutrik NA2-IO-PRO would be nice

I just purchased a cdm48. Looking to run with an ipad and would love to not have to buy another surface. The Mixpad app is definitely lacking.
Look up “Mixing Station” on the App Store. It’s a 3rd party remote control app and unlocking dLive connectivity will cost you $10, but for the price of a couple cups of coffee IMHO it’s worth getting. Although, come to think of it I’m not sure there’s support for version 2.0 of the firmware yet.
Mixing Station already supports v2.0. I am basically in awe of the work David does on that app.
Director won’t come to the iPad. It is a completely different framework. They could however make a better iPad app. Its kind of odd that a 3rd party universal app has so many more features than the official app.
