Has anyone experienced a problem or is there any fixes to this scaling problem with Avantis Director? My DLive Director program scales just fine on the same laptop but the Avantis director…. Not so much.its like the top and bottom are locked no matter what resolution is, almost like it’s setup for a tablet in portrait mode.
I’m having the same issue. I could swear it scaled fine a year ago (same laptop, same install), but lately it’s the same as you on either of my monitors at any resolution or zoom setting. I’m going to check the program run options (Windows) and maybe reinstall.
I ended up getting closest by adjusting the High DPI settings under compatibility when you pull the program properties. I can at least get a sliver of the selected channel/mix displays. Can’t access L/R switching, though.
Hello Daveode, I have a same issue, I found just one solution: have to set the display scaling to 100%, but this is very uncomfortable for other anything. The Director is a horible software because of this and other problems. The dLive Director is working fine, this is why not?
Yes, mine is all correct in scaling (100%) and my resolution is above the minimum (it’s worse at the minimum resolution). Director is unusable for me. It’s a shame. I’m not alone on this. Makes no sense that my DLive director is fine and the Avantis isn’t.
What I figured out is that you have to change the scaling BEFORE launching Director. If it’s at 100% at launch, you can see enough of the top to function. When I then drag the window up to my larger monitor, everything is still there, too. It’s just a PITA on the 13" laptop screen.
