I have the same issue when i turn on the GLD. But the stripes are on the left side of the screen. After about 40sec boot time, all is fine though and i can work normally with the GLD.
Is this normal??

I see that during a normal boot, but it is only momentary. Do you have a STATIC IP address set on your unit? If not, it will take awhile to get past requesting a DHCP address when it’s not plugged into a network. It can look like it’s hung when it’s really waiting for an IP address.
