Is there any solid documentation on the actions stuff? I’m struggling and could use some more general insight, also in regards to the softkeys functions…..
Maybe a source of videos or someone’s brain I could pick?

Have you downloaded and referred to the DLive Firmware Reference Manual? Sections 10.3 and 10.4 cover these two topics.https://www.allen-heath.com/hardware/dlive-series/dm64/resources/
That being said, I’ll be the first to admit that the firmware reference manuals can be hard to understand as they tend to cover the absolute basics and can leave a lot to be desired. It’s better once you understand how the system works, but trying to read the manual without any previous experience on the system can be a daunting task IMHO.
I have extensive experience with the dlive platform, also am an engineer for 35 years or so, but this whole action thing isn’t making any sense to me….
For starters, it’s not as a transparent system as the macros on digico and hence this, there’s probably a lot less to find as explanatory videos and such…
