DLive screen freeze

C2500 screen frozen on start up. Outdoor show on day 3, has happened on 2 separate occasions. Passes signal, can’t access anything. Can’t shut down properly. We went to an SQ backup. 2 days later , it works fine at the shop. Some have suggested moisture getting in overnight outdoors. Console was in case with tarp.

Could well be moisture causing issues.
Is where you are currently quite warm/humid? Covering any equipment in tarp after being operation and having had the chance to heat up could cause condensation or “sweat” to form under the plastic.

Also, going to move this from AHM to the correct category so you can get better visibility of your issue.

I guess it depends on your geographic location, but outside of a desert environment, most of the time events will leave the entire system turned on when it is is going to be sitting outside overnight. The warmth of the devices will prevent any condensation from building up in the sensitive electronics.

You are lucky nothing was damaged when you powered back on in the morning because condensation can easily cause a short when power is applied, usually with catastrophic effects.

My understanding is that a lot of these freezes with A&H boards are network related. Make sure your network setup at the shop matches exactly what you have on site when it’s having trouble. If it is a moisture issue, I would avoid powering it down at all once it’s up and running to keep it warm and cooking at night.
