Am i missing something or is it not possible to drag the frequency and gain at once - as for example at the PEQ.
You always have to switch between gain and frequency.
If controling with Director - without an surface this is not user friendly.

No, you are right. It is an odd way of integrating it in Director. Furthermore, the visual representation needs to separate the Gain Range and the Threshold. Right now there is no way to see your gain range at all actually, which is very odd to say the least 
Agree, the DYN8, and especially the EQ could use some tweaking to make them a little easier to adjust.
