Hi all, we had a very strange situation happen with our Dlive firmware 2.00 (without the ultraFX installed). randomly we started hearing a high pitched “feedback” sound, and realized it was coming from the delay return. i muted all input channels, and the sound continued, even when i changed scenes. we shut down the surface and power cycled the mix-rack, then when the system rebooted the FX units 5-8 were all showing peaking input and output (5 and 6 were setup as mix-return, and 7 and 8 as inserts), but no audio seemed to be coming out. when we power cycled a second time the problem resolved. has anyone seen anything similar? I’m a little worried it could be hardware related as our dlive system is coming up 10 years old. thanks for the input.

We are on firmware 2.12 (C3500 at monitors, and S5000 at FOH, no UltraFX) and have had 4 weeks in a row of frozen fx units with our monitor console. The audio meter shows a frozen signal input, but the return shows no output. It started with just 2 of our 8 configured FX slots, but now has affected all 8.
3 weeks ago, the console did the same exact thing with one of our audio inputs which happened to be one of our lead vocals. The mix rack proceeded to continue this channel’s signal over Dante, so FOH never faced this issue, but our vocal could not hear himself because the processing on this channel froze and no longer passed audio. We have not had this happen on an audio input since.
