Is there a way to enter values directly in Director? For example, if I want the master fader to be at -10 instead of -8, how can I enable my keyboard to type this value in?
Thanks!

You might try right clicking either the field or the encoder knob (I’m not sure which works). I believe it is suppose to pull up a way to enter the values directly.
As Brian says is true in fw 2 and up. Although there is currently a bug (at least for me) with entering values for FX/UFX/Aux sends at soft-rotaries in the east window. Entered values won’t reflect.
Right clicking seems to have no impact. On a channel, I can right click on the pot encoder and assign a different function for it but I can’t seem to right click anywhere else.
This is a pretty critical function I need to get exact values. Am I missing something here or do I need to request this as a feature?

Right click is only available at the “Touch Screen” pop out or window.
Can we please add right clicking on the scribble strips to enter fader values directly? That would be immensely helpful, mostly on the master fader.
Click on the value window and input the desired value…and hit enter.
Yeah, you right click on the actual numeric value you want to change, not the actual icon of the button/fader/encoder. If you are changing fader levels for example, there is a numeric number that pops up on the screen that represents the current fader level. If you right click on that numeric value, you can edit/enter whatever number you want. Any time a setting has a numeric value like this, you can right click on the actual number and change it like this.
It took me a minute to figure this out when I started using the DLive too as I kept trying to click on the fader/button/encoder instead of the actual numeric field.
