FAT32 errors

Hi,
Using both the V1.2 and 1.3 firmware when I format a drive with the QU16 and then attach it to a Windows box & run chkdsk Windows reports that there are FAT32 errors on the drive.
I’ve tried a memory stick and a 500GB hard disk, both with the same results.

Is it OK to fix the errors with Windows - or will that confuse the QU16?

knowing there are errors makes it hard to trust QuDrive for important recordings…

Are the devices on the list that A&H tested and approved?

The exact models are not on the approved list. However I doubt that “not on the approved list” is the issue here as the symptoms are consistent across a variety of devices. Reading/writing to the hard drive does work OK - it’s just that the FAT32 partition table that the QuDrive formatting is producing is slightly iffy…
