Feature Request: Per-channel Pre/Post Fader selection within a single AUX bus

Hi all,

I’d like to request a feature for a future firmware update: the ability to select Pre/Post fader per channel within a single AUX bus, rather than the current global Pre/Post setting that applies to the entire bus.

Current behavior:
On the CQ-18T, Pre/Post fader mode for AUX sends is a global setting per bus — every channel sending to that AUX is forced to the same Pre or Post mode. There’s no way to mix Pre and Post within the same AUX.

Use case:
For live vocal monitoring, Pre-fader is essential so the monitor mix stays stable regardless of FOH fader movement. However, I also want to send a backing track to that same monitor mix, and I need that particular channel to be Post-fader so I can fade it out smoothly using its channel fader (e.g., during a segment where the backing track needs to disappear from the mix).

Currently, this isn’t possible on a single AUX bus — the only workaround is to dedicate a separate AUX bus to the Post-fader source and physically loop its output back into a spare input (e.g., ST IN) to sum it into the monitor mix. This works, but it consumes extra physical I/O and requires an external cable loop, which isn’t ideal for a compact digital mixer.

Request:
Please consider adding per-channel Pre/Post override within a single AUX bus (similar to how some competitors implement this), so users don’t need external loopback workarounds for mixed Pre/Post monitor sends.

Thanks for considering this — CQ is a great desk overall, this would make monitor mixing workflows a lot more flexible.

Yes - this has been requested before and is a very desired function. +1 from me.
