Understand under normal circumstances the upcoming firmware update would not be released until testing was completed. In the current circumstance many of us are out of work with little to no prospect of work in the near future. Would it be possible to get a beta release of the firmware? As long as all our shows and scenes are backed up and we have a copy of latest released firmware, 1.4.4, on hand it would seem no risk, as we could just return the mixer to previous firmware.

What if there were a bug that bricked your unit?
What if someone did have a gig, decided to use unreleased firmware and it put out noise that blew some speakers?
There are many reasons that we do not release firmware until it’s ready, and they still apply in the current circumstances.
So no, I understand why you’ve asked, but we will not be releasing any kind of beta firmware.

What is Hyperbass plug-in and does it come with Firmware 1.5?

Hypabass is a subharmonic synthesiser that adds low end content to signals.
It’s one of three optional add-ons for SQ which are planned for inclusion in V1.5.

Really hope 1.5 adds scene crossfade time. Yamaha already added it to their bottom tier TF.
