Firmware V1.9

Kudos to A&H for letting us know that new firmware is out! I would like to hear back from users what they think - I don’t see any immediate need to upgrade so someone who does tell us how it is!
Lou

I just looked briefly at the Qu-Pad app and a lot of features have been added.
I am now going to the website to get the firmware for my Qu24.

Could someone explain the “Mix Select” soft key function?
Is it like it sounds, a soft key that will send you to a pre-defined Mix page?

I was hoping for a Mix Mute soft key function. Ordered my Qu-Pac today.

The app looks like it pretty much has all the parameter controls from the mixer implemented. The only thing I can’t see is the Spectrograph? I’m presuming that it will be added in a future update as the QU-SB doesn’t have a screen and the QU-PAC is more likely to be controlled by the QU-PAD app!?

(never mind, the iPad app answered my soft key question)

Wow the Qu-Pad app is quite fully featured. The IO Patch matrix is so simple to use.

What happen to the monitor page on the IPad app? No RTAs Spectro gone?

Meters and RTA are in the home page then select Meters on the left hand tab. No Spectrograph though it appears.

Looks very good.
I do Hope the new
DAW control supports REAPER IN WINDOWS?

Looking good.
Is there any way to add multiple versions of Qu-pad onto an iPad?
To retain the last version?
Be able to select either of the last and new version?

Thank you
NZdave

Sweet!!
Thanks once again Nicola and the team for making my QU purchases give me much more than I paid for???

Nope. One version at a time…

I really like the patching - I would like to see a future revision use channel names though (greedy much?)

I am very grateful for these additions and do not want to come off as ungrateful,
but why in the world can we STILL not control the color of each channel on the app?

Spectrogram is there.

P.51 of the manual states (When on RTA screen)

Spectrogram Mode
Press the Fn key to access the Spectrogram or to return to the RTA.
The Spectrogram presents a visual representation of the spectrum of frequencies in the signal as they vary with time. The amount of energy is displayed using colour from dark blue low level to red peak level. The screen presents an 8 second window to give you a history of the changes over time.

Yes the Spectrograph was already in v1.8 but it’s not on qu-pad yet. I expect it will only be a matter of time.

Suspect people are saying it’s not on qupad

What’s the deal with the qu-control app for iPhone? All I can get it to do is read only on the widgets. Can’t seem to get it to actually control anything. Am I missing something?

Edit. Ok. Got it. Had to close edit to get it to work. I thought I was nuts.

Close edit?

I wished you could touch anywhere on the widget and then slide up/down but you have to touch the triangle volume graphic to enable the swiping … my iPhone screen is small and I wished that i could touch any area of the widget inorder to swipe up/down …
