FOH Send to Monitor World through SLink Split?

I’ve searched all over and having trouble finding an answer to my scenerio. Really hope you guys can help! :slight_smile:

Sq5 for Monitor World with Expansion SLink Card - 4816 connected to stock SLink port for all Stage Inputs
Avantis for FOH and connected to SQ5 via SLink

How do I get my LR and Sub Matrix from my Avantis BACK to the Monitor World to assigned 3 XLR Outputs without burning inputs on the SQ? Looks like Tielines only go one direction, in this case only to the Avantis.

Tie Lines go in both directions - any input socket (on the left) to any output socket (at the top).
So for your setup, it sounds like you need to patch I/O port on the left, coming back from the Avantis, to SLink port at the top, going to the GX4816.
(don’t forget to patch Avantis outputs to SLink and ensure you only have a single clock source, so either sync the Avantis to SLink or the SQ to I/O Port)

Thanks Keith! That’s what I was thinking but my brain locked up on the reverse route and was second guessing myself. I’ll test it out once I get both desks next to each other again.
