Hello….the Reverb in the mixer is pretty awful…would‘nt it be better to offer UAD reverb in the shop? That would be a good innovation…
Regards Michael Germany
You can route audio to and from a computer that is hosting the VST. It has some latency but it is low enough for a send/return FX track. The Qu plateform is clearly not able to host a VST right now and I can’t imagine UAD make special builds for the plateform. The tech is very different. I’m sure they could build the DSP code quite easily but the GUI would be a big issue.
Look at this post for instructions:
Thanks for your Information.
I currently use three external reverb devices…
Two vintage reverbs:Roland SRV330 and the KLARK TEKNIK
DN780…and a very modern reverb OTO BAM from OTO Machines
in France. This reproduces the legendary Lexicon 224 and the
EMT 250 Plate Reverb in exzellent quality …all affordable devices.
Good grief. I find the reverbs fine.
Define “awful”. I use those reverbs all the time.
ok, so this post coming from user name Bricasti makes sense. That’s a reverb processor that costs more than this entire mixer.
For the rest of us, try the EMT 250 preset for a room, and the Hall Barfoot preset for a hall. Those are the ones @KeithJAH recommends.
You must have misunderstood something…the external
EMT250 Referenz to the OTO BAM(Reverb Prozessor)
The price for that is 500€….
I didn’t misunderstand. I was referring to your username, bricasti, as in the $5k M7.
That‘s true…I once had an M7 with a Remote…but it‘s to expensive
for live gigs …I‘ve now also bought a Lexicon PCM90…
This is ok…
