Hi, guys.

One question, I’m a newbie so forgive me if this question is really stupid.

I’m trying to record QU24 with Logic Pro.

I’m adjusting the gain on the QU24 meter at around -6db. But Logic on the meter is showing this signal with more or less -18db. Is there something wrong or something that I need to adjust on the QU24 to increase this gain signal to enter the DAW higher or is that it?

In QU you have -6 dB and that’s 24 dB below the maximum (here +18 dB).
In Logic you have -18 dB and that’s also 24 dB below the maximum (here +6 dB)
So both levels ​​are identical.
To get a higher level in Logic you should increase it in QU.

Also note that esp. with 24 bit recording, no need for “maximum level” recording. Better to keep lot of headroom to prevent clipping
