So I might be missing something but there doesn’t seem to be any copy/functionality for the graphic EQs on the Avantis MixPad app, which seems odd for such a pro level mixer.
I’m getting annoyed guest engineers over this which isn’t a good look for us or A&H.
Preferably it’s just user error and someone can point me in the right direction.
If not: please add this functionality.
You can store GEQ settings in library, but there is no Offline functionality for Avantis MixPad, it only works when connected to real mixer, we should be asking for full Offline capability, just like SQ MixPad!
I’m not even talking about offline. I’m talking about taking the iPad, walking onto stage to do your monitors and realising you cannot easily copy and paste the GEQ tweaks of the first monitor to all of the other ones.
Storing and recalling library entries is a workaround that’s cumbersome. There should just be a copy paste function, like there is on the ipad app of lower end A&H mixers.
I do not disagree with you, which is why I voted for it, I mentioned the offline, or lack of it, as I use most types of A&H mixer, from CQ to Avantis, and AHM, and find the lack of functionality of the Avantis MixPad App so limiting that I always use Mixing station. Which to be honest, I do have at least one version of MS all A&H mixers, as well as Behringer, and Soundcraft ones.
yeah I’ve used MS too to get around shortcomings but I must say I typically use MixPad iso MS.
