i have a question regarding update of GLD 80 from firmware v 1.42 Rev.15810 to the latest firmware 1.62
1.: Should i update it straight to 1.62 or it is better to do it in steps i.e. first update to 1.50 then 1.62?
2.: Is there any known possible troubles after updating to 1.62?

Typically you can go straight to the latest firmware version without any issues. I would double check the firmware release notes just to be sure however. If there is any exception to this rule, it is going to be very clearly mentioned in the firmware release notes.
As far as “known bugs” in the 1.62 firmware, again that will be noted in the firmware release notes.
