GLD Dante card in dLive

Hello, everyone. I have an event coming up where I need to have a Dante card at FOH in a C3500, as well as another card onstage in a CDM32. Onstage will be for 12 channels of Shure ULXD, while the card in the C3500 will be for my Yamaha RuIO16-D interface which runs 12 channels of various VST3 plugins. The company I’m working for currently has two Dante cards available for this gig.. One being a newer 96K dLive card, and the 2nd being the older 48K GLD card with an adapter. I was planning to use the 96K card in the C3500 since my RuIO is 96K, and then use the 48K card on stage in the CDM32 rack because ULXD is 48K anyways. Is this the best approach, or is there a better and/or easier option?

Thank you in advance..

Hi John,
if you connect one card to the other you would have to run both cards at the 48K sample rate. Unfortunately you cannot run different sample rates between connected devices. If each device does not need to be connected to each other you can use the native sample rate. Best regards!

Thank you for the quick reply. Both cards do not need to connected together. The card in in the CDM32 is simply to connect the ULXD backstage, while the card at FOH is just to allow my plugin inserts.

You should be good to go!
Have a great show!
