I thought about getting new headphones with 250Ω but could find the impedance for the headphone jack on the spec-sheet. Does any body know the exact value of ohms, or at least if 250 ohm would work?
The headphone amp in the SQ was developed from those used in our XONE DJ mixers which need to work in booths with crazy ‘ambient’ noise levels… so it’s pretty powerful.
It’s able to drive most any headphones without issue, certainly I use my 250 Ohm DT770’s with my SQ all the time and very rarely need to go above 50% level.
