Can I use wave superrack performer with the new QU6
I don’t see why not. Waves Superrack Performer running in “Native” mode is simply a software based plugin host that can be installed on various computers. In essence, it is simply another software choice (like LiveProfessor or running plugins in a DAW). Just keep in mind that using the USB connection interface between the console and computer will result in some pretty latent/slow audio chains. If you use Dante with a hardware interface on the computers side (PCI-e card, USB Dante interface, etc) you can get much quicker latency times, but the hardware is also expensive if you don’t already have access to it.
Yes. To second this, I have tried out Superrack with my QU-5 in the safety of home (not during a live gig yet) and it works fine but with the latency as @sic0048 mentions. I am pretty sure I tested the latency numbers but have forgotten so might have another look to see to what extent it applies it. As long as you are not running monitors or IEM’s using USB based Superrack then FoH can accommodate a little latency without too much bother.
