I am a newbie to this Qu-5.
The installer did the setup.
Where is the assignment of an input signal to the ‘ALT OUT’ connector?
I could not find “ALT OUT” in the Qu567_User_Guide_V1_1_0_Iss3.pdf
Thanks in advance.

I don’t have a Qu-5 in front of me so I can’t give you a step by step, but it should be like routing a mix to any other output. The “Alt Out” is listed in the manual on page 12 as outputs “A” and “B”, a designation repeated on page 136 under “Outputs” as “Outputs A and B.”
Further details:
I hope it is clear to you that you cannot use an output (jack) as an input.
However, it is possible to send the signal from up to two input channels to the two ALT OUTs.
To do this, you would need to patch the Direct Outs of the desired input channels - for example, input channels 1 and 2 - to outputs A and B.
Use the output patchbay for this: outputs A and B.
In the image, these outputs are currently still patched from Matrix 1/2.
