Is there a way to process more than 12 outputs using an SQ7 and SQ5?
I have a major event coming up soon with 2,000 attendees, and I need more than 12 outputs. Is there a way to use more than 12 outputs?

Wouldn’t both consoles need to be connected to each other in some way for that - and if so, in what way?
Stageboxes are not involved?
And you likely don’t mean (physical) outputs, but rather mixes - right?
What do you mean by “process” mixes, speaker processing, routing?
What are the two mixers used for, one for mains and one for monitors?
The SQ7 has 16 outs.
You can connect them via slink or dante and than you can use all mix busses, but don’t forget to set the sync right.
If you need more busses (more than 12 stereo auxes for monitor mixing for example), then you will need to add a second console. If you need more physical outputs (ie more XLR outputs to connect 12 stereo IEM transmitters to when the console only has 14-18 XLR outputs), then you will need to add stage boxes to the console.
Welcome to the forum.
Yes, it all depends upon what you mean (as previously stated).
More analogue outputs = simplest way is to add a stage box (or two…).
However, you may need something to ‘feed’ the outputs (e.g. more AUX channels). This is where things become more tricky…
If you want IEMs (In Ear Monitoring) or foldbacks, it would be easier to add the ME-1 personal mixers and patch the direct outs to the ME-1’s. An ME-1 can drive in-ears or a local (powered) foldback.
If you want more AUX channels feeding the outputs, this is a more complex problem. You should be able to ‘tie’ the two SQs together - but you are making life difficult for yourself (in my opinion).
This is why the more expensive desks have more features and facilities…
