How to route FX output to a normal input Channel?

Hello! Is there a way to route FX Return to a normal input channel? …without using a phisical cable

Not to my knowledge.

Check the block diagram for the available valid routing.

Sometimes it would be helpful to know why someone wants something.
If you only want, for example, to have a compressor in the Return of an FX, you could send it via a group that might still be available.

Oh,thank you! It could be the solution! It is sad a little, that I have to use additional “mix slots“, that has a limited quantity… even worse I need them several.
The next sad thing is that there are no Gate on Group Channel.
Actualy yes I need this option to procces Hall or Delay returns with Compressor and also Gate.

May be there is option to do it via USB somehow?… I can easely rout it through computer, but there would be a little delay and… additional device (PC) needed

And what specifically speaks against using a cable to an input channel?

But you are aware that there’s a dedicated “Gated Verb” effect?
Otherwise, you could check whether it would be suitable for your purposes.

But that shouldn’t matter with your Reverb + Delay setup, right?

Actualy the same limited quantity, but about phisycal outputs. I use SQ as mobile mixer while live band performances. 6 (sometimes 9) musicians. Every body like stereo IEM - we need to look for a compromise that might not exist.

Yes I now, but that is not my solution. I need Side Chain option inside.

Yes, it is may be the best solution for now, but it is a 100% kludge.
Actualy don’t understand the reason, why the Returns could’n t be routed to anywhere. The same as, why Return channels have no Compressor and Gate. There’s a certain artificiality to it…

Perhaps a corresponding hardware addition could be possible.

If you need such specific FX on FX, perhaps purchasing a WAVE system would be an option.
Or, of course, buying a console that allready supports this. )

I understand your request very well, and there’s really nothing wrong with that.
I’m quite sure it’s already been expressed here more than once, and you should vote for it there.

Of course, for IEMs, A&H would want you to go down the ME-1 route. That is where we are going.

This will allow our worship group to adjust their own IEM mixes, and free up local analogue outputs and MIX (AUX) channels.

A win/win situation…

Ok, I see the horizon. Thanks everyone for participating!

I’ve created the request in “SQ Feature Suggestions”.
I would appreciate your support! Thank you.

Add a stagebox and your in and out limitations go away.
