How to set instruments to get bass

Hi, i am wondering if there is a way to get bass from my instruments ( bass guitar and drums) to come through on my online mix, the keyborad that we use for the streaming has bass on the onlone mix (5,6) when it is beong played on the lower notes but the bass guitar and kick drum is not giving any bass on the online mix, is it the way that we have to EQ the instruments or is there a setting that we can use to send bass through, thanks

Are you getting the desired low end of the bass and drums in the PA mix? How are you sending audio to the broadcast mix? Is it through the use of an aux buss, or some other method?

If you are “mixing” the broadcast feed using an aux buss, you need to double check the send level on those “missing” channels and make sure they are turned up in the proper aux mix. Also check to see if the send is set for “pre fader” or “post fader”. There are reasons to choose one over the other, but you generally want the sources to be set the same. So it might be that the broadcast sends on your keys are set for pre fader, but they are set to post fader for the drums and bass (or vice versa).

If that isn’t the problem, then we are going to need more information about how the broadcast mix is set up/routed. In other words, if you are not using an aux send, then how are you sending audio to the broadcast?

I am using a USB to send audio through to obs which is what i am using for streaming and recording currently, I have not checked the post and pre faders as yet, but i will try out what you have suggested and get back to you, thanks for you help

But are you sending individual channels to OBS… or an aux buss,… or just the Main LR mix, etc etc etc?

I am sending a aux buss

Since you say you are sending from an Aux Bus, is there perhaps a GEQ over it that might have some drastic eq-ing happening in the low frequencies?
