HPF in every CQ20B channel

In CQ-20B I find there is a HPF in every channel which can’t be turned off (encircled in red in the attached picture). Can anybody tell:

  • Why this filter pole is there?
  • Does this influence music played through such a channel? If I listen to music through a channel it clearly lacks low-end, unless I specifically boost it again using PEQ.
  • What is the implication of this filter pole on for example a kick drum mic?
  • How do you cope with this?

That’s not actually possible unless you explicitly activate the HPF under Preamp.

That HPF is greyed out denoting that it is bypassed.
Based on the SQ and dLive series, once enabled it will change to be a green colour.

The HPF is on a different page than the PEQ; you adjust and activate it there. Though it shows on the PEQ page, grey means bypassed.
