I can run 5 ME-500s, but not 6

Hey folks, I have an odd issue I am hoping to get some help with. We have 6 ME-500s available for use, though commonly only use 5. The switch we are using to feed it is this one:

When I have 5 personal mixers connected, everything is fine. No issues. When I connect a 6th, the 6th one seems to power up, receive signal as evidenced by the ‘sig’ light, but I don’t get any audio output. If I have all 6 connected at the time that we power up the switch, it seems like a random one won’t output audio, but is receiving signal. If a mixer is working as expected, and I disconnect that cable from it and connect it to the 6th one, the 6th one will work. Very weird.

I have tried ‘extend’ mode on the switch but that didn’t have any effect. We are well within the power budget of the switch - each mixer apparently only takes 10w, and the budget is like 245w. I have also tried a variety of known good cables, and the fact that different mixers have stopped outputting audio at different times tells me that it’s not cabling.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? I’d appreciate any help!

Thanks!
Scott

FYI, for anyone else that finds this thread while searching, the DLink DES1018MPV2 ended up being the issue. We replaced it with the ME-U and all is well. For some reason it just didn’t want to run 6 devices, even though we were technically well under the power budget.

Maybe it was just our unit, but I wasn’t willing to screw around with another switch anymore.
