Hi. I need some assistance. Im using an SQ7, and Local Inputs 17 through 24 are not giving me any signal however I am getting 1 to 16 and then 25 to 32.
Is there some setting I am missing or may this be a Hardware issue?
I am not aware of any setting that would cause this, so I, too, suspect a hardware issue.
To be certain, you could try a reset of the mixer after saving your current show to an USB stick.
If the problem persists, you should contact the A&H service.
Do you have the inputs patched correctly? You haven’t sent them to a Group and the Groups muted? The Inputs are assigned - meaning 17 shows the 17 socket?
Yes, look (firstly) at your input patching and then your routing for input channels 17 to 24.
Use pre-fade listen on the headphones in preference to what is being output from the desk to the speakers. Also, the ‘meter’ screen is a good one to have up.
Follow the signal path(s) on the block diagram and check each selection ‘switch’ and fader as you go.
Also check for any ‘insert’ effects that ore not doing anything.
Is this a new (to you) desk? If not, did they work previously?
