I recently bought an ICE-16D, it’s size and capability are perfect for what I’m trying to acheive in my studio. Unfortunately, I can’t record to a USB stick or SDD. The drive will test and format OK, regardless of which of several sticks and drives I’ve tried, I can see the signal being received by the unit, and can hear it in the headphones, the front panel displays like it’s recording, but after several minutes, the display still shows 99 mins remaining, and when I check the drive in my PC I can see the folders all good, and 16 tracks are created, but they are all file-size 1Kb, and when I try to play any file, there’s nothing there.
Any advice would be welcome. For some reason I can’t get into the Knowledgebase article which says what harddrives are supported, so if someone can tell me what the best solution is, that’d be great. Any tips or tricks to get it working?
