hey dave, thanks for your post. The error message “show file invalid 295” means, the system could not process the xml tree. Maybe you could send me the showfile via mail? (weinschenk@lighton.info)
i have also checked your problem with the auxes and found a little bug. Channels who are patched to not available busses were displayed normally in black. That was wrong. Now all patches to not available busses are displayed in lightgray.
I wonder whether it could be expanded to read off (and tabulate) individual channel settings? This would make it much easier to manage incremental changes so that we can pass on the “before” and “after” tables to a third party along with the details of the changes we know we made, so they can sign off on the fact that only the things we wanted to change have been?
Thank you for this. Even if it was just the patch sheets this would be awesome, with the chance to check if there are overlaps and mis patching in the config this is even better.
This is GREAT! Would you puleeeeze consider dual-rack support? If so, I’m more than willing to send you XML files and work with you to hammer out the ability to read them.
What if the show file is too large! I had to come up with one of my test show files when we first started to try it out. I have about 110 scenes and tons of library settings
