iLive T80 with IDR48 - Replacement

Hey everyone,

I am new to this forum and am just looking for some assistance for my work. I work for a high school in South Africa and we were given a iLive T80 with IDR 48 from a large production company as a kind of gift. We used this desk for multiple years, unfortunately with a recent thunderstorm we have gained damage on the system and I am in the process of claiming this from our insurance.

This is where I need help, the insurance requires a letter to prove that the iLive T80 has been discontinued and replaced by a newer model. With the name of the newer model and then a quotation for the newer model with a IDR 48. I have tried to search online for an answer or someone that can assist me with this and have been unsuccessful so far.

Is there someone that can maybe provide me with this information, quote must be in South African Rands, or provide me with contact details of someone in South Africa that can assist me with this request.

All of the iLive series has been discontinued. Therefore it is unlikely that you will be able to find a new retail “surface” that will work with the iDR48. Of course you can likely find/purchase used devices that will work with the iDR48.

However, to get a “new system”, you would have to replace both the iLive Surface as well as the iLive iDR48. That is because the iLive Mixracks are not compatible with the “current” offerings.

The DLive Mixrack and Surface are the “current” offering that replaced the iLive system when it was discontinued. The closest DLive Surface to the T80 is probably the C3500 and the closest DLive Mixrack to the iDR48 is probably the CDM48.
