iOS 9 and Mixpad app - crashes! Anyone else?

Is anyone having crashing issues with iOS 9 launching Mixpad? On an iPad Air the app simply won’t load (crashes back to desktop). Worked fine before iOS 9.

same here - ipad 2 air with mixpad and onemix app crashes

Maybe it’s a good thing to wait until allen & heath announces if they are going to bring out an update for iOS 9 and when they are planning to do this. after all there are still people waiting for an update for live editor on the new osx platforms

Same issue here, mixpad crashes as soon as I try to login. I really hope they fix it soon because iOS 9 seems really nice.

Luckily for me it was on a friends iPad that I discovered this issue. I wont upgrade until I know the A&H apps work on the new OS. STILL waiting for a Mac Yosmite fix for Editor! It almost seems that every time Apple does an OS upgrade it screws things up for A&H software!

Me too. Unfortunately, I’ve done the upgrade and can’t go back so I’m buggered!!!

I actually use the app more than my surface because of venue restrictions etc so it’s really important.

Any word from A&H yet??

Mr Allen, Mr Heath!!! Where are you! Did you forget your thousends of ILive-Users? Or should we all update to dLive??? Or much better in this case: To another brand?

Me too

Hi all,

We are looking into this. We have MixPad running on iOS9 in the office, however we will perform further tests with different iPad hardware and report back.

Mine is an iPad Air. I’ve tried a full factory reset and reloaded the app, still the same.

Uninstall onemix and mixpad. New install. Onemix Runs. Mixpad Crashs. iPad Air Modell A1567

Same here. Onemix runs, mixpad crashes.

I’m on an iPad Air 2

Also, if it helps mixpad offline seems to work ok

I’m on iPad Air 2. What about my mix (monitor) when I reinstall one mix? Is this stored in the app or in the console? Can someone confirm that reinstall one mix and mix pad brings the app alive on my hardware?

Hi Hotlegs,
The mix sends, assignments etc. are stored in the iLive, so your mix will sound exactly the same.
However the strip layout in the app and layer names / permissions are stored locally on the iPad, so you’ll have to reconfigure the app.

Nicola,
Is there any info that the users who are experiencing the crash can provide that would help your troubleshooting?

Just been reading through the Yosemite/editor thread… There is no hope!! Just feel like binning the lot at this point.

Am I glad to hear I’m not the only one having issues with IOS 9. Luckily I still have my Dell Windows 7 PC to run my shows. Any Idea when the patch/update for the Mixapp will be released ? Running around stage with this half rugged laptop isn’t really something I plan on doing for a very long time.
I will give it a try to downgrade IOS 9 to 8.4.1 if apple is still signing 8.4.1 otherwise we’re all royally screwed.

Like i said at the beginning of the topic, I’ll wait for the update and then move to ios9. My monitor mix is being done on an ipad by someone who has learned to move very fast around the settings. For me it would be a disaster if mixed stopped working. I even have 2 ipads in iOS 8 running mixpad. I rather buy another ipad if i feel the need for ios 9 so much that i cannot wait for the clearance of allen and heath.
