Has anyone tried using an IP-8 with a wireless access point? I used to use a Behringer X-Touch via WAP on Waves LV1 system to accomplish the same thing. It would seem that I could do this the same way since it’s not really passing much data.

the problem could be the realtime metering data… but if that is not important it should work

You should be fine. You will need a POE+ injector though to power the unit.
